My fascination with bodies of water, mostly in the form of pools, started early on. One of my most cherished memories my mother has told me of my childhood was of my fearless jump from the high dive into the community pool in our then hometown of Simsbury, Connecticut. 3 years old, donning my floaties, I climbed up and up, to the tip top of the high dive.
